Soho was a Special Guest of the Government of Korea with special privileges during the Olympics where he received 2 favourable write ups by the Olympics Media in association with the NY Times. Soho is also the only Canadian invited to join the prestigious Rotary Club and the only Canadian invited to meet the country's most powerful leaders at the National Assembly. Soho has been empowered by the estate of Asia's first Nobel-laureate R.N. Tagore who saw Korea as a Beacon of Asian civilization. Similarly, Soho's link to the Tokugawa Clan also mandates promoting cultural ties between Japan and Korea. Hence, Soho is also producing the first international Kpop film with Order of Merit honouree MJ Baek and has been living in Korea to authentically represent the Hallyu phenomenon taking the world of film, fashion and music by storm. Furthermore, as President Lee Jae-myung said Buddhism is the foundation of Korea's traditional culture, Soho was invited to meet monks close to some of Korea's biggest celebrities including from Squid Games — and to give the inaugural speech at the Korea Buddhist temple in Washington attended by Korea's Ambassador to the US and Chiefs of Staff to President Clinton and Presidential Nominee Hilary Clinton. Further, Soho has lectured at the prestigious Korea National Sport University and has been a special guest at official events of Donguuk University as well as Art and Culture events to promote Korean heritage. Soho has also been invited to many Korean shows where his presence is announced and given an ovation and has also received write-ups in Korean media as a Canadian filmmaker representing Korean and Asian culture on the world stage. To foster Pan-Asian relations — especially between Korea and Japan — Soho has launched APAC or Association for Preservation of Asian Culture in Gangnam with a branch office in Tokyo.
